SMA is a former Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider, having terminated this arrangement intentionally due to unrealistic requirements from Microsoft. Just the same, SMA retains a number of associates with MCSE, MCSD, and MCP certifications.

SMA has developed a variety of solutions for our clients:

Home Decors Retailer: SMA developed and implemented an internet storefront for the purchase of blinds, shades, and other related products. In addition to capturing the order on the website, the system interfaces to LinkPoint for payment processing and directly to the manufacturing and fulfillment facility to ensure immediate order fulfillment. The development environment was Microsoft’s IIS Server, Miva Script, Java, and COM.

Web-Based Questionnaire/Survey: SMA built a dynamically generated questionnaire using a MS SQL database, ASP, and MS-IIS Server. In addition, SMA built the web component to allow the user to dynamically build and maintain the questionnaires without any working knowledge of HTML.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI): SMA has been developing order management systems based on EDI for years. Our EDI clients list includes one of the largest food distributors in the US. The system developed by SMA interfaces this distributor’s supply chain system with its customers using EDI.
